| Wanda Andreatta - Volunteer of the Month, July 2010
Wanda is an amazing volunteer and a very lovely lady who gives the shelter so much of her time. She is very dedicated and comes in to work whether it's rain or shine, if she is feeling good or not. She assists with surgeries and everything medical on Tuesday's. She also comes in every Thursday to help clean cat cages. Marissa, our Kennel Attendant, says whenever she is extremely short handed, she knows she can always count on Wanda to come in and help out with whatever needs to be done, even if it is at the last minute. Marissa would like to personally thank Wanda for all she does around the shelter. Marissa says Wanda has saved the day many, many times!
Wanda is a very accurate and observant surgical monitor. She is good at communicating with the staff regarding the conditions of the animals. She is willing to work over her scheduled shift time to help complete a heavier than normal surgical schedule. It is unanimous that Wanda is a very kind and pleasant volunteer to work with. She is a valued asset to the shelter, to the medical team, and to the cats.
For these reasons and so many more, Wanda is our Volunteer of the Month!
