TAILS 'N TRAILS Cancellation & Location Change!!
- TAILS 'N TRAILS Hikes have been canceled for the month of September, and will resume on first Sunday of October at Burbank's STOUGH CANYON. TAILS 'N TRAILS hikes generally take place 1st and 3rd Sunday at Stough Canyon. Volunteers will walk Burbank Animal Shelter dogs looking for their forever homes. Please join us and find the perfect pooch for yous!

BUNNY HOMES URGENTLY NEEDED!!
- The shelter is currently overloaded with rabbits and needs to find families for these great animals as soon as possible. Rabbits make wonderful pets. They need a quiet clean space, a sensible diet, chew toys, exercise and most importantly YOUR LOVE. The shelter staff will advise you on the proper care required. The Volunteers of the Burbank Animal Shelter are on hand to provide information and help you find the furry companion that’s right for you. We are hosting our Fall Adoption Fair with plenty of delightful dogs, frisky felines and bouncing bunnies looking for a forever home.

Lady Monica
Lady Monica is a beautiful Pit Bull Mix getting ready to celebrate her second birthday. Pregnant when she arrived at the shelter, she had seven healthy puppies. She was a careful, attentive mom, and all the puppies have been adopted to wonderful homes. A very special, playful, affectionate and happy pet, Lady Monica likes most dogs and is good with kids. She knows a few commands as she has been part of the "Happy Tails" training program where she is a fast learner. Continuing this basic training will help Lady Monica. She needs her daily exercise and will enjoy being outside for walks and hikes. However, Lady Monica really wants to be inside with her new owners where she can be a part of the family and enjoy being a couch potato!
